Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Plotafile (“we”, “us”): the website, the web app, the downloadable offline copy, and any license you buy. By using Plotafile you agree to them.

The Free Version

You can use the free version of Plotafile at no cost, for personal or commercial work. We may change what the free version includes.

Buying a License

Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments processes your payment, collects any sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt, and handles billing questions under its own buyer terms, which you accept at checkout. Prices are shown on our pricing section and at checkout.

A license is a one-time purchase, with no subscription and no renewal. Your license key is emailed to you after payment and is also available from the Dodo Payments customer portal.

What a License Gives You

• All features of the licensed (Pro) version, including features we add to it in the future.
• The downloadable offline copy, which runs from your own device without this website.
• Use on any number of your own devices and browsers, with no time limit.

A license is for one person. Your key carries your name and email address. Please don’t share it, publish it, or give it to others; each person who uses the licensed version needs their own license.

Your Data

Plotafile runs in your browser. The files you open are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us. See the Privacy Policy for the details.

Acceptable Use

The Pro features need a valid license. Don’t try to get around the license check, redistribute the software, or resell licenses. We may end a license that is shared publicly or obtained fraudulently.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, once per customer. See the Refund Policy. A refunded license ends.

No Warranty

Plotafile is provided “as is”. We work to make it accurate and reliable, but we don’t guarantee that it is free of errors or suited to any particular purpose. Check results that matter before you rely on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of Plotafile. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don’t take away a license you have already bought.

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where we are based.
